Review: I ordered it online. Its customer service was not that excellent. I wanted to order a wireless router and was not sure about if it is. The online information was misleading, too. After I got this item, I called D-Link. For more than 2 hours, no one picked up the phone. Anyway, this is not a wireless router. Although it is not very convenient to use without long cables, it works fine.

Strengths: easy to set up

Weaknesses: none

Review: Just plug in cables and re-boot cable modem. Using software provided along with router is NOT required. I have used cable routers for 5 years now and loading any software along with it seems to cause most issues.

Not lightening proof!

Strengths: Did every thing well

Weaknesses: None really

Review: Worked great until the lightening caused power outage. Then zip. D-Link support is $33 a call for out of warranty help. When you call tech support you get the same know-nothing offshore yahoos that used to work for Linksys (the biggest scam routers ever made). Box says tech support is 24/7. Support closes at 5 pm Pacific time. Oh well, fun while it lasted.

Strengths: Easy setup, so easy it only took minutes to set up! AND its cheap??! :-D

Weaknesses: None!

Review: This baby works so good and to top it off, after a quick setup, the other computer that I am sharing my dsl connection with, I did not have to do anything to it so it could get online. It just worked. And my computer doesn't have to be on for the other to be, just the router. What dream! Who knew networking could be this easy :). And both computers I cannot detect any slowdown in speed :)....

Strengths: Easy set up. Good speed. Small footprint

Weaknesses: Had problems reconizing other computers network. WOuld have to reset at least 2 a month.

Review: Now that I have another gateway to compare this to I can tell you that there are better ones out there. Although the problems may have not be all the routers fault I now see that there are better choice.
